ABOUT ZENA
Your neighbour.
Your voice.
Zena Al-Mudaris for Town and Regional Councillor, Oakville Ward 2. Listen. Lead. Act.

WHY I’M RUNNING
Useful politics, not louder politics.
I am running for Town and Regional Councillor in Ward 2 because we do not need louder politics. We need useful politics: clear priorities, open books, and a door that stays open after election day.
For more than twenty years I have worked as a pharmaceutical scientist, healthcare professional, educator, and school principal. For over thirteen years I have served Oakville families through school councils and the Halton District School Board, and today I chair the School Council at White Oaks Secondary School. That work taught me that leadership starts with listening: to parents at council tables, to students who needed a second chance, and to neighbours who simply wanted someone to answer the phone.
I want a safe, inclusive, financially responsible, and thriving Ward 2, where every resident has a voice and an opportunity to succeed. And I will say it plainly: hate has no place in Oakville. Let's keep building a kinder, safer community for all.
Together, for a better future. — Zena
