On Sunday, September 13, the Muslim Arab Society of Canada (MAS), with the Al-Khafaji Group and the Multicultural Community Association, hosted a family afternoon for Oakville's Arab community under a picnic pavilion on the lakeshore, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

MAS welcomed Zena as a guest candidate. Families shared food, listened to speakers beside the MAS and Vote for Zena banners, and spent the afternoon together in the park.

Thank you to MAS and its partners for hosting, and to every family who came out.
